Apple has lost the functional high ground

It just works” was never completely true, but I don’t think the list of qualifiers and asterisks has ever been longer. We now need to treat Apple’s OS and application releases with the same extreme skepticism and trepidation that conservative Windows IT departments employ.

No wonder Marco has gotten flak over this. The above is simply laughable. He’s been away from Windows too long. I’m not saying that there isn’t room for improvement in Apple’s software. I’m not even saying he’s not onto something in general terms. But this paragraph is just ridiculous and he knows it. He’s smarter than that.
