If you wondering if your Mac’s camera will always be watching, the app will only utilize it when you have one of the compatible apps open. If you close iTunes or Spotify, for instance, the green indicator light next to the camera will immediately disappear.
The beginning of the end. Give us a reason to expect to see that record light on all the time and suddenly the light serves no purpose at all. How much easier for a nefarious app to spy on us if we already have our camera turned on all the time in the future to take advantage of tech like this. A new safeguard will need to be found.
