Back in the days of film you would think twice, at least, before snapping a photo. You’d then wait patiently (or impatiently) until you used the entire spool to have it developed.
The scarcity and pace of the whole process added value to the end result. I wonder what insights this could provide if you think about it in the larger context of an entire world of people whos expectations are being altered to expect “right now”, “unlimited selection”, and “free free free” as the new norm.
Are we going to end up killing all the value in everything without even realizing it?
