How to steal an Apple Watch
15 May 2015 • fortune.comThe Apple Watch is smart enough to protect your data. It knows when it’s been taken off your wrist, and it won’t let itself be unlocked without a passcode.
But it’s not smart enough to destroy its resale value should it leave your wrist for good.
Kind of a ridiculous oversight considering all the great things Apple has done to deter theft of iPhones. Although… if your watch is strapped onto your wrist 99.9% of the day doesn’t that make it pretty hard to steal in the first place? Or are we talking about people stealing it off of your nightstand?
