Apple Watch: The Future Is Now (or, at least, soon)

Also, Siri works beautifully on the Watch — I have responded to many text messages using Siri (some even while riding my bike) and she gets my dictation correct about 90% of the time. I’m impressed with the improvements Apple has made to Siri over the past year — I used to always default to using Google for voice commands on my iPhone, but now, because of my experiences with the Watch, I’m beginning to trust Siri on the phone as well.

So “Siri works beautifully” but she only gets dictation correct “about 90% of the time”? I can’t wait for a future when 90% is considered disgraceful (as it should be). What other modern technology today would thrill us with only 90% reliability?

You can almost taste it: in a few years, it might be weird to see someone NOT wearing a smartwatch, in the same way almost everyone seems to have a smartphone today. And that watch truly will be something to see (or wear) — a watch, a health tracker, a notifier, a communication device, a credit card, a car key, a house key, and more — all like the Apple Watch I’m wearing right now but thinner, faster, and more waterproof!

…and able to understand what you’re saying 100% of the time. Now that would really be something beautiful.
