Face ID, Touch ID, No ID, PINs and Pragmatic Security
22 Sep 2017 • troyhunt.comOne of the arguments I heard against Touch ID yesterday is that an “attacker” could cause a sleeping or unconscious person to unlock their device by placing the owner’s finger on the home button. I’ve quoted the word “attacker” because one such situation occurred last year when a six year old used her sleeping mother’s fingerprint to buy $250 worth of Pokemon.
LOL. Kids.
