I love an order confirmation that sounds personal and begin with a "Thank you", even if it's likely it was still just a machine on the other end.  Gives me some confidence that if I did respond there would be a warm, friendly human waiting to assist me with any issues.

For the curious I bought a vertical SleeveCase for my new Macbook Air after reading the recent review on Macworld.
