Shame on you Google

Google regarding the Nexus S:

A 1 GHz Hummingbird processor paired with 16GB of internal memory makes Nexus S one of the fastest phones on the market.

16GB of memory, wow! Only recently could you get 16GB of memory in a top-of-the-line iMac, and it'll cost you a cool grand.  My new fully loaded Macbook Air only has 4GB.  To think that this new phone has 4x the memory...

Oh... wait... it's not "memory", it's storage. The wording is entirely deceptive. I think the industry has been consistent about how the words storage and memory are used. Google's own tech specs make the distinction clear - and use the correct terminology.

From Apple's site:

And iPad is available with a choice of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of flash storage...

I couldn't find anywhere on Apple's site where they say the iPhone or iPad has xGB of memory.  Their wording just completely rubs me the wrong way. Perhaps because it wrongly implies that their 16GB of storage somehow makes their device faster.</rant>
