REE, ruby-build, Ubuntu 12.04

For anyone needing a tip on how to get ruby-build to compile REE on the latest Ubuntu release (in an automated fashion).  This is an example from my Sprinkle recipe, but the concept is the same whatever deploy tool you might be using:

• Store a patch file somewhere (thanks to Harry Walter for telling me what needed to be patched)
• Tweak the ruby-build definition of the latest REE to install your patch (it's just a fancy bash script)
• Enjoy
