When joining a new network, Cloak will take a few seconds to form a connection with our infrastructure so that it can protect your data. In addition, networks are tempermental and sometimes hostile environments, so there will be occasional circumstances when we are prevented from creating a safe route to the Internet at all. We wanted to protect data even under these conditions.

One of the few things I always worried about with Cloak - and now they've solved it.  Can't recommend Cloak highly enough if you ever use public wi-fi.
