The Utter Failure of my Windows 8.1 Upgrade

His conclusion:
So here I sit, on a Friday afternoon, running the DiskPart utility from a USB drive containing Windows 7. I’ve given up on Windows 8. I’m completely dumbfounded by how the process can be this bad.
Good riddance, 8. Let’s hope that the installation of 7 goes a little bit better.
In related news: I test-drove a new BMW the other day. There was some random and completely unacceptable problem with the transmission that only seemed to afflict that single vehicle. I was told no similar problems had been reported.
Count me out, BMW. I'm headed to Amish country now to trade for a new horse and buggy. I hope it comes with Siri Eyes Free.
