Ordinarily, the lead of the pencil is filled in the full of its length. It's hard to use the lead from end to end even using the extension holder. ... On "easy pencil", 60mm shorter lead is embedded in the pencil. That means the easy to use the lead to the end.

My first thought: I bet this is more expensive to produce than just having the full length of lead.

My second thought: Wait - who is still using pencils?
