I understand “fairness” is not how this should be thought of, but an impression: 32 more GB are suddenly “free”, but 16 more for the smaller one are not…

You could also say that previously the additional 16gb upgrade cost $100 but now for that same $100 you get an additional 48gb - that’s a 66% price reduction!

I’d say it just means very, very good news for those not buying the bottom tier.
